We got great value for our money at this charming Victorian cottage. The room was cozy, clean, and the double bed was incredibly comfortable - we didn't want to leave! The location was ideal, with plenty of shops nearby and just a short walk to the sea front. The hosts, Keith and Salva, were friendly and responsive, making our stay even more enjoyable. We will definitely be returning.
The only thing that could have made breakfast even better was if there was a wider variety of options. The food for breakfast could have been more diverse.

The value for money was excellent, with a clean and well-equipped room that felt like a 5* room service experience. The location was great, close to local bars, restaurants, and a supermarket, and a comfortable walk to the seafront. The owners, Keith and Salva, were a pleasure to deal with and ensured our stay was enjoyable.
Hotel breakfast could be improved with more variety and options.

Quaint Victorian Charm: Staying at this picturesque cottage felt like stepping back in time. The beautiful old building, with its period features and antique furnishings, made me feel like I was a character in a Jane Austen novel.
Limited Parking: The only downside was the occasional difficulty in finding a parking spot near the cottage. But hey, it's all part of the experience of navigating the streets of Portsmouth, and it didn't spoil my overall enjoyment of the stay.

The cottage was in a great location, close to the city center and with parking available nearby. It had all the modern amenities we needed, like a washing machine and a well-equipped kitchen. the property was well-maintained and clean, with a comfortable double bed.
There was no convenient upstairs toilet for the bedrooms, which could be an issue for families with small children. the parking permits provided by the council were a hassle and finding a spot could be troublesome.

The charming decoration of the cottage instantly made me feel at home. The pretty Victorian details and cozy atmosphere created a wonderful retreat. The cottage was easily accessible for senior people, with no stairs or obstacles to navigate.
It would have been even more delightful if there were grab bars in the bathroom to ensure safety for senior guests. The children of the staff were lovely, but this addition would have provided extra peace of mind.

The value we got for our money at the cottage was outstanding. The room was cozy and comfortable, with a double bed that made it hard to leave in the morning. The location was ideal, just a short walk to the beach and surrounded by a variety of restaurants and pubs. The staff was friendly and responsive, making our stay even more enjoyable.
Breakfast offerings could be improved with the addition of curtains to the windows. The blinds were effective, but curtains would have helped keep out the early morning sunlight and heat.
